Job Description:
The Social Snippet is a social media agency that supports over 100 businesses and expands their social reach through various social platforms. We offer done-for-you social media management packages that allow owners to focus on their business, as we focus on their online presence. We collaborate with business owners each month for content building to help bring the ideal customers to your business. We work with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn and Pinterest.

Our services range from done-for-you podcast management, photography and videography services, and social media coaching. The Social Snippet team consists of social media experts and content creators that are excited to build digital communities and grow businesses in the way that supports the owner’s vision.

Position Summary:
The Social Snippet is looking for an experienced Social Media Manager responsible for planning, implementing, managing, and monitoring multiple businesses social media strategy, to increase brand awareness, improve marketing efforts, and, ultimately, increase product/service sales. A successful Social Media Manager combines creativity, strategic thinking, analytical skills to enhance the brand’s online presence and achieve business objectives.

Responsibilities
– Lead strategic monthly content meetings with clients.
– Build and maintain professional relationship with clients (including prompt and reliable communication).
– Content creation and development, including graphics, videos, captions, hashtags and more, on all offered social media platforms, including but not limited to; Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google, etc.
– Actively participate in WhatsApp communications with clients (if contract specifically includes a WhatsApp chat)
– Field and answer any questions related to client strategy and content development.
– Analyze social media data and generate reports to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
– Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in social media marketing.
– Other duties/developments within reason (determined by owners/managers/CEO).

Requirements
– 3+ years of experience in social media management required
– Degree in Marketing, Business, Communication, or related field
– Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
– The ability to develop and implement social media marketing strategies for a diverse client base (including content pillar ideation, launch plans, content creation ideas, etc).
– Strong creative abilities, analytical skills, and a curiosity for continuous improvement of content that resonates with our audience
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences
– Strong proofreading skills to ensure accuracy and quality of social media content
– Ability to create visually appealing graphics and videos using various tools and software
– Understanding of social media KPIs
– Experience with social media scheduling tools such as Later, Planoly, Hootsuite, Sprout Social
– Excellent written communication skills that can flow between formal and conversational style
– Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
– Strong organizational and time management skills
– Ability to build rapport and strong relationship management skill
– Proficient in SEO techniques to optimize social media content (preferred, not required)
